By using this website and/or engaging I Am Off Road ("we," "us," "the Company") for services, you agree to the following terms:

Services. I Am Off Road provides off-road vehicle repair, modification, installation, and consultation services, including but not limited to suspension, drivetrain, lighting, and diesel engine services. All work is performed based on the specific requests and information provided by the customer.

No Guarantee of Fitness. While we recommend parts and services based on experience and manufacturer specifications, the customer is responsible for confirming that any modification suits their intended use, local laws, and vehicle warranty terms.

Limitation of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I Am Off Road's liability for any claim arising from services performed is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of use of vehicle, towing costs, or third-party claims, except where caused by our gross negligence.

Governing Law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the county courts of Tarrant County, Texas.

Changes to Terms. We may update these terms at any time; continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the current terms.

EcoDiesel / Emissions Modification Disclaimer

Certain services offered by I Am Off Road — including EGR deletes, DPF/emissions system modifications, and related tuning — alter factory emissions control equipment. These services are offered strictly for off-road, competition, or non-street-legal use and are not intended, sold, or performed for vehicles operated on public roads or highways.

Federal law (the Clean Air Act, 42 U.S.C. § 7522(a)(3)) and many state laws prohibit tampering with or disabling emissions control equipment on vehicles used on public roads. It is the customer's sole responsibility to determine whether these services are legal for their vehicle's intended use in their state and jurisdiction, and to use any modified vehicle only in compliance with applicable law.

By requesting these services, the customer represents that the vehicle will be used in a manner consistent with all applicable laws, and agrees to hold I Am Off Road harmless from any fines, penalties, or legal consequences resulting from the customer's use of the vehicle after modification.

Services & Repair Liability Waiver

I Am Off Road performs all work based on the customer's stated goals and the vehicle's condition at time of service. The customer acknowledges:

  • Pre-existing conditions, prior modifications, or hidden damage may affect outcomes and are not the responsibility of I Am Off Road unless caused directly by our work.

  • The customer is responsible for accurately disclosing the vehicle's intended use (street, trail, competition, etc.) so the correct parts and setup can be recommended.

  • I Am Off Road reserves the right to decline any job that conflicts with safety standards or applicable law.

  • Vehicles left for service beyond 3 business days after completion without pickup may be subject to a storage fee of $50/day unless stated otherwise.

Payment & Deposit Terms

  • Accepted payment: Cash, card, Affirm/financing

  • Deposits: A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required on special-order parts before ordering unless stated otherwise.

  • Labor rate: $100/hour, quoted per job before work begins where possible.

  • Refunds: No refunds or returns allowed unless stated otherwise.

Warranty Policy

  • Parts: Covered by the original manufacturer's warranty (CavFab, RockHard 4x4, Metalcloak, Oracle Lighting, King Shocks, etc.). I Am Off Road will assist with manufacturer warranty claims, but is not the warrantor of third-party parts.

  • Labor: I Am Off Road warrants installation labor for 365 days / unlimited miles from the date of service against workmanship defects. This warranty does not cover damage from off-road use, abuse, or subsequent modification by another party.

  • Not covered: Wear items (bushings, seals, fluids) beyond normal service intervals, and any issue arising from customer-supplied parts not sourced through I Am Off Road.
